Agency mode with AI

Every once in a while, I come across a tweet or a material that's so actionable, that you cannot not do it. One such example was this tweet that simply suggests using Google Maps to find some high-end service with the worst website and building an alternative using step-by-step prompt. It's just a two-hour job since all you have to do is follow the instructional prompting. I am going to do it just for the sake of it and see how it goes. Link

Buffet's reading myths

Not sure how I ended up here, but it's interesting to read about the myth that surrounds Buffet that he read 600 pages every day. Sure, he might have read occasionally, but he was also out in the world talking to people and building relationships just as much. The article goes into detail about how he simply walked to the office of Geico, a company that he fully owns, and asked the security guard to find someone who could walk him through the office. All he did was ask. The main takeaway: he didn't just think at his desk. He went out into the real world and built relationships that eventually fed into his own work. Link

Robert Caro documentary

I was delighted to learn that there has been a documentary on Robert Caro. It highlights his relationships with his editor, with whom he has worked for more than 50 years. Another shocking tidbit I learned from the article was that they had to cut 350,000 words from the book called The Power Broker. Not because it wasn't important, but because of the physical limitation. They could not bind the book that was any longer. Added the documentary to the wishlist.Link
