Workspace

Starting from the biggest to the smallest: the desk is a custom made from a local vendor. I got a drawer installed to place my MacBook 14" M1 (still going strong). I seldom never use more than one screen at a time so there's no point of keeping the MacBook in the sight – which brings me the monitor. I got one of the OGs in 5k display: LG Ultrafine 27" 5K when it was still on sale around a couple of years back. The iMac 27" and this monitor share the same panel, so it doesn't feel like I'm working on an external display. The newely launched displays aren't worth the upgrade, although I would have loved a nano-texture glass addon on my monitor.

The chair is a refurbished Herman Miller Mirra 1 that I got from a local liquidator. I tried the coveted Aeron but it just didn't do it for me. Since I spend around 6-8 hours on a chair, I wanted to get (invest?) in the best chair the money could buy. I think Mirra does the job but I don't feel like sitting on a cloud (which is what you would expect from chairs that cost a bomb).

Keychron Q1 (Version 1) with Gateron Phantom Brown switches used to be my daily driver and I loved that chunky keboard (not pictured). But recently, while cleaning I may have nicked it. Right now, I've been using Logitech MX Mini. It has all the bells and whistles of wireless connectivity etc, but lacks the Phantom Brown character (I meant the 55±15 gf of actuation force was like typing on a cloud). I've been using the MX Master for as long as I can remember.

I recently accessorised my desk by getting a Turf Vegan Leather Desk Mat and Magnetic Wireless Charger from DailyObjects. This was my first time using a wireless charger, and I was pleasantly surprised with the StandBy mode. My favourite has been the analogue clock version. But you can have your photos, etc., show up too.

Stationary

One of the most notable purchases in the past few years for me has been this Pen Type-C by CW&T. It doesn't have the usual pen shape, but rather a flat style that doubles as a bookmark. The ink cartridges are readily available (Pilot Hi-Tec-C Coleto) in varying colors. I've taken this pen on multiple flights, and it doesn't dry or leak. This pen feels indestructible thanks to the grade 5 titanium that makes up its body. And the best part? Absolutely no branding.
