Exploring the Sahyadri ranges and windmills

For the last few days we have been exploring the Sahyadri ranges (also known as Western Ghats) in and around a small town called Satara. The city sits on the western edge of the Deccan Plateau and is part of the Western Ghats.

Exploring Western Ghats in monsoon was always on my list and this time although we were a bit late (monsoon was early, really), we still saw some of it's remaining reminisces. These were scattered across the region in terms of misty weather, several shades of green and multiple waterfalls.

I had my Ricoh GRIV with me and here are some photos from it.
